Understanding the SI joint
The sacroiliac joints connect the pelvis to the lower spine. When an SI joint becomes disrupted or degenerative, it may contribute to pain and difficulty with everyday movement.
Possible contributing factors identified by the manufacturer include previous spine surgery, pregnancy-related hypermobility, trauma, and excessive load on the joint.
