About Dr. Anuj Shah

Dr. Shah joins The Spine and Nerve Centers of the Virginias as an Interventional Pain Management Specialist. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Shah completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Detroit Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized as Research Resident of the Year for three consecutive years. He went on to complete a renowned Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Weill Cornell Tri-Institute in New York City, a program jointly affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Shah specializes in advanced, minimally invasive spine procedures and is dedicated to helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love through personalized, evidence-based care.
